Terms of Service

1. Who you are dealing with

The company you contract with depends on where you buy:

• Memberships bought in Brazilian reais (buyers in Brazil): Samurai Jiu-Jitsu Ltda, CNPJ 57.590.954/0001-19, Av. Mario Theophilo Guerra, 11, São Pedro da Aldeia, RJ, 28940-880, Brasil.
• All other memberships, billed in US dollars: Gallerr Inc, mailing address 246 Columbus Ave, New York, NY 10023, USA.

Both operate the Academy together and are referred to as "we" or "us". Contact for anything in these terms: support@renzogracie.online.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or buy a membership.

You sign in with your email address: we send you a one-time sign-in link, and there is no password. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone who can open your email can open your account.

A membership is for one person. Don't share your account or sign-in links. We may suspend accounts used for sharing, fraud or abuse.

3. Memberships, billing and renewal

We offer monthly and annual memberships. The price, currency and billing period are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Memberships renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, until you cancel. Your card is charged on each renewal date. Where the law requires it, we remind you before an annual membership renews.

If a renewal payment fails, access may be paused until a valid payment method is added.

Members of the previous Renzo Gracie Online platform keep the price of their existing subscription for as long as it stays active without interruption.

Members of participating Renzo Gracie academies may receive access through their academy membership ("academy pass"). That access is tied to the academy membership and ends when it ends; it is not a paid membership with us.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time, online: Account → Manage subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

5. Refunds

If you are not happy with a new membership, ask for a full refund within 7 days of your first payment by writing to support@renzogracie.online. This also covers the right of withdrawal under the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code (art. 49).

After those 7 days, payments are non-refundable and we don't give refunds or credits for partial periods, except where the law requires it.

6. Price changes

We may change membership prices. We email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you, and it takes effect at your next renewal after that notice. If you don't want to continue at the new price, cancel before that renewal.

7. Using the content

All videos, transcripts, subtitles, text and other material in the Academy belong to us or our instructors and are protected by copyright.

Your membership gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to stream the content for your own non-commercial training. You may not:

• download, record, copy, redistribute, sell or publicly show the content;
• use it to teach paid classes or run a competing service;
• get around access controls, scrape the site, or use automated tools to extract content;
• share your account or sign-in links.

We may change, add or remove content and features at any time.

8. Train safely

Jiu-jitsu and self-defense training involve physical risk. The content is general instruction, not medical or personalised advice. Train with qualified partners and instructors, warm up, tap early, and check with a doctor if you have any health concern. You train at your own risk.

The Academy complements training at a real academy; it does not evaluate or award belts or ranks.

9. Availability and liability

We work to keep the Academy available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, the Academy is provided "as is", and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law, including under the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using the Academy at any time and ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; if we close a paid membership without a breach on your part, we refund the unused part of the period.

11. Law and disputes

Memberships bought from Samurai Jiu-Jitsu Ltda are governed by Brazilian law, and consumers may bring claims in the courts of their own domicile.

Memberships bought from Gallerr Inc are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without giving up any protection the law of your own place of residence gives you as a consumer.

Before going to court, please write to support@renzogracie.online: most problems are solved quickly that way.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes we notify members by email before they apply.
