How do you go about passing the butterfly guard? It can often look like an infinite amount of work until you can get to side control. Renzo teaches here some techniques you can start using to lock up your opponent and pass.
Often, when we’re in a position of defending against an arm attack from the top, we set out to lock down and tire our opponent, but forget that by removing one of the levers, we can make escaping much easier.
